Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Renew your mind by reaching out often to God in prayer, seeking out Christian community at church and elsewhere, and connecting with God’s Holy Word, the Bible, as a means to grow in wisdom and character. We begin as caterpillars in this life, crawling an inch at a time, wondering if there is more to see, more to know, more to hope for. God has given you wings! Soar above the lesser things in life in Jesus’ name.
